Abstract

Abstract Lymphocyte sensitisation shown by a mother both under physiological and pathological conditions is also shown (in somewhat lesser degree) by her children. Either intact lymphocytes or information-carrying materials from maternal lymphocytes pass to the offspring. Greater lymphocytic compatibility exists between mother and child than between father and child.
