KARAKTERISASI MORFOLOGI DAN ANALISIS KEKERABATAN PADI AROMATIK SULAWESI SELATAN YANG DITANAM DI KABUPATEN ENREKANG

Abstract

A research about morphology characterizaties and relationship analysis of aromatic rice planted in Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, was conducted during July to December 2005 to know the morphology characterictics and to analyze the relationship among the nine varieties of aromatic rice, included ; Celebes (A), Gilireng (B), Bau (C), Kombomg (D), Sintanur (E), Mandoti (F), Pinjan (G), Lambau (H), ang Gunung Parak (I) by using morphologi characteristics. The research used group randomized design (RAK), with three replication and the rice were planted in comparrrrtments sized 3m x 4m.Observation results was analyzed using SMC (simple Matching Coefficient) and the grouping was based on average linkage analysis. The analysis result of SMC indicated that Gilireng and Sintanur has a closed relationship of similarity level 0,8442 followed by Celebes and Gunung Perak at similarity level of 0,8182. Varieties Bau has more related to the Pinjan so they grouped at similarity level 0,7662 and then grouped with Lambau at acidity level of 0,6624. Varieties Kombong and Mandoti with similarity level of 0,6883 was grouped, in tum will be grouped with Bau, Pinjan and Lambau at acidity level of 0,6396.
