Abstract

Abstract A new method of assessing the compositional variation in bulk MCT slabs has been presented. The derivative of the transmission curve has been utilised and details of the procedure for estimating the maximum and minimum composition in the sampled area by a single observation have been described. The results have been compared with those from Electron Probe Micro Analysis.
