Abstract

Abstract The paper describes a new computer controlled system for electromagnetic testing. The purpose of the system is detect small metal particles and identify their position. A high sensitivity transducer consisting of several differentially connected pick-up coils is utilized. Five channels instrumentation amplifier and filter is constructed in order to reduce noise influence and ensure high sensitivity. Various tests were carried out to verify efficiency of the proposed system.
