Abstract

Abstract We report a case of a metastatic transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder in a 20-year-old patient who had previously undergone resection of posterior urethral valves, clean intermittent catheterization, bladder autoaugmentation, and later renal transplantation. To our knowledge, this is the first report of transitional cell carcinoma following bladder autoaugmentation. We also review the literature on bladder autoaugmentation and transitional cell carcinoma.
