Abstract

Abstract The extent and potential use of combined treated effluents for irrigation in Kuwait are briefly discussed. Health considerations in setting effluent standards applicable to local environmental conditions are also discussed. The results of chemical and biological analyses of the treated effluents and Environment Protection Council (EPC) supported research findings on treatability of combined effluents have also been referred to.
