Abstract

Zusammenfassung The syntheses of chelating ligands of the type (CH 3) 2XSi(CH 3) 2CH 2X(CH 3) 2 (X = N and/or P) are reported. (CH 3) 2NSi(CH 3) 2CH 2N(CH 3) 2 (I) is obtained by aminolysis of ClSi(CH 3) 2CH 2Cl (II) with HN(CH 3) 2 and reaction of the CCl group with LiN(CH 3) 2, (CH 3) 2PSi(CH 3) 2CH 2P(CH 3) 2 by the reaction of (II) with excess LiP(CH 3) 2, (CH 3) 2NSi(CH 3) 2CH 2P(CH 3) 2 either by aminolysis of (II) yielding (CH 3) 2NSi(CH 3) 2CH 2Cl followed by the reaction with LiP(CH 3) 2 or from ClSi(CH 3) 2CH 2P(CH 3) 2 (III) with LiN(CH 3) 2, (CH 3) 2PSi(CH 3) 2CH 2N(CH 3) 2 by cleavage of the SiN bond in (I) with PCl 3 followed by reaction with LiP(CH 3) 2. (III) is formed by the reaction of (II) with LiP(CH 3) 2 (molar ratio 1 1 ) at 60–80°C. The new compounds were identified by analytical and spectroscopic (PMR, IR, MS) methods.
