Abstract

Abstract Examples of recent measurements with electromagnetic probes in the few-nucleon systems are presented. The discussion begins with the nucleon where there is great activity to better understand the low-momentum transfer properties of its ground and excited states. There have also been particularly noteworthy measurements in the two-nucleon system which push established non-relativistic models with nucleon and meson degrees of freedom at least to their limits. Finally, there is a brief presentation of results in the three-body system and a personal outlook for the future.
