Abstract

Abstract Low-temperature thermoelectric power of a dilute Kondo alloy is calculated in the asymmetric single-orbital Anderson model using the perturbation theory of Yosida and Yamada. Enhancement over the Hartree-Fock value due to intraorbital Coulomb correlation is found.
