Abstract

Abstract A Cu(II) based conformationally restricted chiral fluorescence sensor (receptor 2) has been designed and synthesized for selective sensing of anions. The anion recognition property of the Cu2+-complex has been studied in acetonitrile by fluorescence methods which show remarkable sensitivity toward dihydrogen phosphate via fluorescence modulation of the Cu2+-complex over the other anions examined.
