Abstract

Abstract Diffusion of n-fluoroalkyl(meth)acrylate monomers in one-component and two -component prepolymer matrices was followed by means of an interferometric method with the aim to elucidate the effect of molecular characteristics on the formation of a permanent refractive index gradient in the prepolymer and on specific features of diffusional exchange of monomers at various temperatures. Regardless of the matrix composition the rate of diffusional transport is given by the chemical nature of the monomeric diffusant.
