Abstract

Abstract The effect of field annealing on the zero-field distribution of moment directions in amorphous Fe 78Si 9B 13 has been studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy. In all cases the moments are distributed at an angle with respect to the ribbon plane and normal. We propose an explanation in terms of anisotropy and exchange.
