Abstract

Description Description: Data for Table II: The worksheet Dataset1 contains the data used to compute the ratio of mining and quarrying intermediate expenditure (IMQ) to value added plus IMQ for selected countries. Data for Table III: The worksheet Dataset2 contains the exhaustible-resource international trade data for the year 2000 used to compute the per-capita-net exports of fuel, ores and metals in the year 2000. This data set also includes average per-country per-capita GDP growth rates for the period 1950 to 2006. The worksheet Dataset3 contains the difference of average per-capita GDP growth rates between exhaustible-resource-poor countries and exhaustible-resource-abundant countries (for different country group aggregations). Please refer to each dataset worksheet for detailed information on computations and sources.
