Abstract

Abstract From 23 new measurements, the average terrestrial heat flow through the deep-sea floor between North America and Hawaii is about 1.4 · 10 −6 cal./cm 2 sec. No significant differences were measured between recognized topographic provinces, which include the Hawaiian ridge and the Molokai fracture zone.
