Abstract

Abstract In the simplest self-consistent approximation of resolvent self-energies for the calculation of RE-alloy properties, their energy dependence near the threshold (i.e. the ground-state of the f-electrons) is nonanalytic, but the exponent is independent of the coupling constant. The correct exponent is obtained only, if vertex corrections are taken into account via a delicate self-consistence scheme.
