Abstract

Abstract Stripping reactions to unbound states in 25Mg and 25Al nuclei were investigated by measuring proton-neutron correlations. Twenty-six states of 25Mg were observed in the energy range from 8.1 to 11.6 MeV, and 29 states of 25Al in the energy rangefrom 4.6 to 9.2 MeV. For most of them spin, parity, widths and decay modes were derived. A spin of 5 2 + for the ground state of 25Si was deduced.
