Abstract

Abstract A general formalism devised to describe the scattering properties of homogeneousspheres containing several spherical inclusions is presented. The results for the scattering amplitude of non-absorbing spheres containing a single metallic inclusion as well as for the extinction coefficient of a low-density dispersion of these objects are discussed.
