Abstract

Abstract The energy of the gamma ray emitted during the isomeric transition in 109Ag has been measured using a Ge(Li) detector. The obtained value (88.05±0.05 keV) is greater than the Pb K electron binding energy, and the PbK X-rays have been effectively observed.
