Abstract

Abstract The reduction of the amount of quantum noise in modulation experiments by the use of two-mode squeezed states is discussed. It is shown that by the use of squeezed radiation instead of coherent radiation, the amount of quantum noise at the modulated frequency can be reduced by many orders of magnitude.
