Abstract

Abstract A soap-free shellac pseudolatex was prepared using a changing solvent technique. In the present study, theophylline sustained release pellets were used as model cores for the shellac coatings. The enteric quality of the film produced from the aqueous dispersion is comparable to that applied from the organic solution.
