Abstract

Abstract Quantum extension of the many-body transport theory in the Wigner representation formalism is considered. Satisfactory description of the ground state of nuclei recovering the super-shell structure is obtained. The method is applied to analyse the role of quantum effects in low-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions. The dynamics of super-heavy systems formation and recently reported anomalies in proton transfer probability in heavy-ion reactions are discussed.
