Abstract

Abstract Clinical data recorded in three trials investigating the effects of hidrosmin (600 mg/day orally) in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency were submitted to analysis. After selecting and purging documentation, we performed a statistical study comparing the effect of hidrosmin with that of a control group. The results indicate that hidrosmin improved the subjective symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency and also reduced ankle swelling.
