Abstract

Abstract Nutrition is often a theme of worksite health promotion programs and an assessment of needs should precede program development. Components of a nutritional assessment may include anthropometric, biochemical, clinical, dietary, and psychosocial data in addition to a medical history. Depending on available resources, program planners may choose a simplified or comprehensive nutritional needs assessment. In this report, we describe these two methods and present suggestions for implementation.
