Abstract

Abstract Potential-step chronocoulometry is successfully applied to an ionic surfactant, (11-ferrocenyl) undecyltrimethylammonium. Critical micellar concentration and diffusion coefficients of the surfactant monomer and the micelle are estimated. Adsorption of the electroactive surfactant on an electrode surface is discussed on the bases of its dependence on the potential and on the concentration of the surfactant in solution.
