Abstract

Abstract The transfer rate of electronic excitation between moving molecules is analyzed by means of a diffusion model including specular boundarycondition and an exponential sink term. The diffusion equation is numerically solved allowing for the exact computation of the transferrate especially in the intermediate time region where the previous approximate solutions are not applicable. The range of applicability of the approximate expressions is discussed.
