Energy Transfer Emission in Mixture of Organic Dye and Photosynthetic Pigment Pumped by Nanosecond Laser Pulse (I)



When the mixture systems of several laser dyes (organic dyes) and photosynthetic pigments were pumped by a nanosecond laser pulse, the sensitized fluorescence of chlorophyll-a and chloroplast due to energy transfer from the excited organic dye was observed. The rate constants of these processes are experimentally estimated. The theoretical analysis of the phenomena observed has been also studied.
