Case study : lifestyle issues in cardiac health

Abstract

This case study, aimed at medical students and health professionals, is on the clinical course and management of a sedentary, overweight 46-year-old man who smokes and has high blood pressure. This case study provides information on presentation, history, physical examination, lifestyle issues, smoking cessation and exercise, and followup. Questions for the user are interspersed with the case material. This material has been prepared and published on the Web by the Virtual Health Care Team, School of Health Professions and the School of Medicine, University of Missouri, Columbia.
