Abstract

Abstract The transition temperature T c is evaluated from first principles by the solution of the gap equation in the Hartree-Fock approximation for various types of CDW and SDW in graphite in a high magnetic field H. Contrary to previous theoretical works in this field, we find that SDW induced by the nesting between 0↑ and 0↓ subbands has the highest T c over a wide range of H.
