Abstract 1. 1. Solitary urinary bladder stones in small boys are not uncommon in Syria. 2. 2. A characteristic dysuria with interruptions suggests the diagnosis. X-ray or sounding proves it. 3. 3. Most of the patients have relatively clean urine. Cystitis does not seem to be a marked feature of the disease. 4. 4. Uncomplicated cases are treated by suprapubic cystotomy with immediate closure and without the use of a catheter.
