Abstract

Abstract This month we publish the third and final article in our Future Trends series on enzyme technology. D. Thomas has already looked at the future of enzyme technology as a whole (TIBS, Sept., 1979, N207) and Klaus Mosbach has discussed immobilized enzymes (TIBS, Jan., 1980, 1). Here the potential of immobilized whole cells is examined.
