Abstract

Abstract A decrease in the level of postnatal Mg ++ ATPase and Na + K + ATPase activities in proximal and distal rat intestine was observed after the rats were weaned. ATPase levels were higher in the distal intestine of the suckling rat and higher in the proximal intestine of the weanling rat.
