Abstract

Abstract Reproducible growth by TSFZ (Traveling Solvent Floating Zone) method of large La 2-xSr xCuO 4 single-crystals has been established using lamp-image floating-zone furnaces with steep temperature gradient. Sizable single crystals with high quality can be provided for typical neutron scattering measurements.
