Abstract

Summary A small family with the trichodento-osseous syndrome, which consists of curly hair, amelogenesis imperfecta, and taurodontism inherited in an autosomal-dominant pattern, was reported. The unusual tooth form combined with a high incidence of periapical pathologic change makes it likely that the endodontist may be called on to diagnose this syndrome.
