Abstract

Abstract The phase stability of lanthanum cerium oxide (La 2Ce 2O 7), which is stable up to 1400 °C, and the thermal expansion coefficient of La 2Ce 2O 7 doped with Ta 2O 5 or WO 3 were studied. The thermal expansion coefficient of La 2Ce 2O 7 below 400 °C was increased by adding more CeO 2 or doping with either Ta 2O 5 or WO 3.
