Before I started the PhD, I had in my master thesis worked slightly with ecodesign aspects which caught my interest. During my PhD thesis my interest for the different possibilities within ecodesign has increased this interest. In my thesis, I have focused on the human interaction when doing ecodesign and not on the particular design, which I through my PhD project have found relevant and interesting when conducting ecodesign. Through the PhD project, notes have been taken from several meetings and in- terviews have been recorded at the case company, Grundfos. The information is used in the PhD thesis, however, the raw data can not be found attached to the PhD thesis. This is due to the fact that they contain business sensitive infor- mation and therefore can not be enclosed. The reference style used in this PhD thesis is Chicago which means that ref- erences in the text are with the authors’ last names and the year of publishing
