Abstract

Abstract A case of breast cancer recurrent in the chest wall after radical mastectomy is described. A portion of the anterior chest wall was resected and the resulting full-thickness defect was closed with tantalum gauze covered by a flap of skin. The patient's recovery was uneventful and she is well six months after operation.
