Abstract

Abstract The performance of a solar cell is dependent not only on the number of recombination sites but also on their areal distribution. Calculations show that, with a fixed number of sites, an inhomgeneous distribution can produce a cell with a higher efficiency than one in which the same centers are uniformly distributed.
