Abstract

The article is devoted to the Russian policy in Transcaucasian region and in Asia Minor in the context of the Kurdish problem. As a result of the Russian-Iranian and Russian-Turkish wars the borders of Russian empire approached to Kurdistan region and some Kurds took out the citizenship of Russia. Russia realized the inevitable collision of interests in this region not only with Iran and Turkey, but also with Great Britain and France and moved to a more balanced strategy in the Transcaucasia and Asia Minor.
