Abstract

This study aims to define a difference in university students' cultural experiences, as well as the effects of their CQ on multicultural acceptance. The findings of the study suggest this: First, regarding university students' CQ according to their cultural experiences, their foreign language speaking ability had a significant effect on cultural motivation; their overseas stay experience, on their cultural motivation and cultural behaviors; their foreign culture experience types, on the frequency of cultural foreign contacts; the time of their contacts with foreigners, on cultural thinking, cultural motivation and cultural behaviors. Second, regarding physical education university students' cultural acceptance according to their cultural experiences, their foreign language speaking ability, their overseas stay experiences, their foreign culture experience types, and the time of their contacts wth foreigners had a significant effect on multicultural orientation and national orientation; and the frequency of their contacts with foreign cultures, on multicultural orientation.
