Abstract

Abstract A powerful relocating direct linking loaders has been implemented for the INTEL'S MCS-80 series microcomputer. The loader allows independent translation of the input segments liberating the programmer of address adjustment. An arbitrary number of absolute/relocatable segments are accepted as input with all possible cross-referencing. The external symbols impose a loader splitting into two passes. The second pass has been minimized because it is in memory during the physical loading process.
