Abstract

Abstract Some water-soluble vitamin levels were determined in total snail and in digestive gland extracts of Biomphalaria glabrata. Vitamin B 12, folic acid, and pyridoxin levels were higher in digestive gland extract than in total snail extract. Conversely, the levels of choline, nicotinic acid, biotin and para-aminobenzoic acid were higher in total snail extract.
