Abstract

Abstract Magneto-tunnelling spectroscopy is used to investigate the electron dispersion curves in the quantum well of two double barrier resonant tunnelling structures which differ only in the nature of their emitter contacts (two- and three-dimensional). Reasons for the deviation from the expected parabolic behaviour are discussed.
