In my bachelor´s work „Education and training for public administration“ I focused on assessment of needs, willingness and and possibilities of selected groups of employees of public administration to learn. At first I discribe the basic concepts related to adult education and its history, the importance of adult education, the differences in education of pupils/ students and adults. There are presented forms of teaching and teaching methods used in adult education, factors influencing learning and forms of bussines education or training which we can meet while attention is focused on the sphere of public administration. In the empirical part I deal with professional training of staff of municipal offices with extended powers. I found it out using the survay technique which was attended by 100 respondents. In the final section I evaluated the results which I found out using survey. According to the results is found that courses in public administration are available, up to date, there is a wide range and selection, they are beneficial and usable acquired knowledge.
