Abstract

Abstract A multi-segmental smoothing cyclic spectrum estimation(CSE) based on Welch-Bartlett method is proposed in this paper for basic CSE is the high computation and not convenient in practice. The proposed algorithm, using multisegmental smoothing and Fast Fourier Transform(FFT), estimate signal frequency spectrum accurately as possible, and then calculates any section cyclic spectrum by frequency spectrum shift and correction calculating. The method can not obtain all alpha-plane cyclic spectrum, so reduce calculating times. The method has easier flexibility and apply further cross-spectrum and multi-spectrum etc.
