Abstract

Abstract We have measured characteristic magnetic properties of Cu Mn (5–15 at% Mn) below T f: Time dependence of the magnetization M( t, B, T), relaxation rate Δ M( B i, T), S-like M( t 0, B)- T-curves, a decrease of M with increasing T in high fields and the validity of the superposition rule at small fields and low temperatures. These properties are described by a classical model based on the Arrhenius-activation of magnetic clusters in a uniaxial anisotropy field.
