Abstract

Abstract In our Pseudomonas system, putrescine and magnesium both induce ribosomal aggregation. The high sedimenting particles formed in the presence of 10 mM putrescine appear to be less effective in stimulating protein synthesis than those formed in the presence of 10 mM magnesium.
