Abstract

Abstract In this report, an overall view of the development of a test method for studying creep–fatigue interaction has been presented. Unlike the conventional test methods, this test method provides an unique approach to study the true simultaneous creep–fatigue interaction. This test method has been successfully employed to study the creep–fatigue interaction of a near α Timetal 834 titanium alloy.
