Abstract

Abstract We present the wireless extraction of passive elements of fluid based open ended micro-coil using an inductive coupled system. It consists of RF coolant as a fluid, copper based single loop antenna as a sensor coil and tested micro-coil. The gimmick effects in the wireless analytical model are generated by the parasitic coupling. To evaluate the micro-coil parameters such as inductance, resistance and inter winding capacitance form reflected impedance signal in the range of 1MHz-100 MHz and then fit with the analytical model. In addition, FEM analysis is performed using the COMSOL Multiphysics to verify the results.
