Abstract

Abstract One of the alternatives to the conventional method of publication of scientific work is the presentation of a synopsis in normally readable print, followed by a full-text back-up in miniprint. It may well be that this system could also be used for a better dissemination of valuable information which otherwise would receive only very limited distribution. The latter situation is not uncommon in applied research work. The article is followed by a paper produced in the synopsis plus miniprint system, and encourages readers to make their views about this system known by completing an enclosed questionnaire.
