Abstract

Abstract The importance of thin-layer chromatography for the identification in urgent toxicological analysis of 1,4-benzo[ f] diazepines used in therapeutic treatment Thin-layer chromatography may be used, in urgent toxicological analysis, for the classification of derivatives of hydrolysis products of urinary benzodiazepine into one of several groups differing in pharmacological activity. Extracts of derivatives and hydrolysis products of gastric juices are identified by thin-layer chromatography. This identification is completed by gas-liquid chromatographic and spectrofluorimetric studies.
